Citrix and Kony have partnered to help joint customers manage their mobile solutions across the entire lifecycle.

Citrix (CTRX) announced a partnership with cloud mobility provider Kony to allow users to manage their mobile applications across the entire life cycle. All Kony Apps are now verified by the Citrix Ready program, meaning they have met the requirements necessary to work with Citrix’ mobile solutions.
The partnership is expected to help enterprises fast-track their mobile strategies with the combination of Kony’s app ecosystem and Citrix mobile solutions, said Dave Shirk, president of Products, Marketing and Strategy for Kony.
“Leading companies across the globe are successfully using mobility as a catalyst for business innovation,” said Shirk, in a statement. “Enterprise mobile apps are no longer a nice to have. It has now become a strategic imperative for businesses to effectively compete in this new mobile era.”
Kony highlighted several of its apps, including:
- Kony Mobile Sales Solution, designed to help business users extend their sales force automation system
- Kony Mobile Service Solution, which gives field technicians access to existing EPR systems on their mobile devices
- Kony Mobile Retail Banking Solution, a financial management solution that allows users to bank on their mobile devices
- Kony Mobile Healthcare Solution, which allows members to manage healthcare plans and benefits from their mobile device
