Connected Data announced the launch of its Excelerate Partner Program to help resellers grow their file, sync and share business opportunities.
Private cloud storage appliance vendor Connected Data announced the launch of its Excelerate Partner Program to help resellers grow their businesses in the file sync and share market.
The Excelerate Partner Program is expected to provide resellers with the tools and resources needed to drive new revenue opportunities and capitalize on the growing demand for secure file sync and share solutions, according to Russ Johnson, chief operating officer for Connected Data.
“With a 20 percent-plus protected margin for Gold-level partners, we’ve designed a program where partners can quickly benefit from a recurring revenue stream while giving them the opportunity to broaden their footprint into existing customers and easily land new ones, with a ‘sticky’ solution that is seamless to manage and support,” said Johnson in a statement.
Resellers will have access to the company’s flagship Transporter family of private cloud appliances, which house data behind the customer's own firewall without cloud subscription fees or per-user fees.
Connected Data expects the file sync and share market to grow in excess of $2.3 billion by 2018, led by a growing shift to cloud and the mobile use of FSS, according to IDC.
Program members will receive NRF pricing for 45 percent off MSRP, with access to 30-day free trial offers to allow end users to try products before they buy. Membership is broken down into two tiers, consisting of gold and standard levels, according to the company.
Connected Data also announced the Connected Data Education Flex Program, which will allow education enterprises that purchase any Transporter appliance through August 2015 to defer payment until September 1, 2015.
