The end of September is nigh, which means the days are getting shorter and the coats are getting heavier. But the Channel Partner Program Roundup rides on. This week we’ve got news from Virident Systems, Microsoft (MSFT) and Condusiv Technologies, so saddle up and let’s ride.

Virident: The server-side flash storage solutions vendor has announced the Virident Impact Program (VIP), making the company’s FlashMAX II hardware and FlashMAX Connect software suite available for purchase from qualified channel partners. The program, which consists of Member and Elite levels, includes joint marketing efforts, co-branding, technology training, sales support and a loyalty program.

In addition, Virident will be implementing a certification program, Virident Validated, later this year to accredit its partners' knowledge of PCIe technology. The program and certification will be open to all channel members that have proven expertise with server-side flash storage, including local, regional and national resellers, VARs and MSPs. Virident plans to sign specialized flash-optimized channel partners in the Americas and worldwide.

Virident’s VIP channel program will be run by Dawn Marie Ruszel, who joined the company in June as the senior director of worldwide channels. Prior to joining Virident, Ruszel spent eight years at EMC Corp., where she held several positions, including, most recently, running the national channel program and partner team.

Microsoft: The vendor has awareded the 2013 Platinum Level Operational Excellence Award to En Pointe Technologies. The company was rewarded for delivering market-leading operational excellence supporting Microsoft technology over the past year.

This marks the sixth consecutive year that En Pointe was recognized for this award. En Pointe met all award criteria set forth by Microsoft, achieving a 100 percent green score card in Q4 2013 for improvements on on-time renewals and true-ups.

Condusiv: The performance optimization vendor has introduced its Elite Partner Program, adding a top tier to its Condusiv Partner Program, and has selected Champion Solutions Group as its first member.

The Elite tier, which provides additional support and services, is limited to just six to eight regional superpowers with a big midmarket virtualization solution footprint, according to the company. Along with additional margin, Elite partners have access to custom outbound marketing campaigns, "unmatched world-class" lead generation programs, dedicated field sales rep support, inside sales rep support and engineering support, as well as top executive corporate sponsorship.

“Champion Solutions Group is the first of the new SP 500-class of partners that we have selected for our Elite partner program," said Jerry Baldwin, CEO of Condusiv Technologies, in a prepared statement. “Champion is our trusted IT adviser for the midmarket."

And that is this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup. We’ll be back next week with another passel of programs. Until then, stay safe.
