Welcome to the Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of all things channel partner-related. This week we’ve got news from Kaspersky Lab and Enterasys, so without further ado, let’s get to it.

Kaspersky Lab: The security vendor has enhanced its Partner Portal—including a Sales and Enablement Mobile Site—to provide partners with solutions-focused sales and marketing toolkits that they can use whether online in the office or on the go.

According to the company, the mobile site allows partners to access the same information and content as the online portal regardless of where they are, extending easy access to sales resources. Having the same content across platforms will enable partners to provide accurate and timely solutions to their partners, the company noted.

Enhancements to the Partner Portal include a number of new, easy-to-use features requested by partners and are geared toward challenges their customers are facing, according to Kaspersky.

Enterasys: The networking vendor about to be known as Extreme Networks kicked off its newest channel partner recognition, the Pinnacle Club, at its 2013 North America Partner Conference Oct. 22-24 in Ft. Myers, Fla. The Pinnacle Club recognizes those partners that have achieved the highest scores on key performance indicators that include revenue, company logo, partner-initiated closed business, partner-initiated pipeline of business, certifications and marketing development. Membership in the Pinnacle Club is valid for six months, and members have access to a dedicated sales development rep, increased market development funds accrual, Enterasys executive sponsorship, use of the Pinnacle logo on their website/business card and, for the top partner, a sales development rep onsite at the winner’s facility.
