Google said it is expanding its Global Google for Work Partners program to allow small businesses with between 100 and 3,000 employees to try Google Apps for Work licenses for free via a zero-cost deployment voucher through the end of the year. The deal is specifically being aimed at companies who have an existing Enterprise Agreement (EA) with another app vendor.
Several of the companies listed as Recommended for Google Apps for Work partners also announced new cost-savings benefits for Google Apps midsized companies, including AODocs, Powertools, Dialpad, Prosperworks and Smartsheet, according to the announcement.
SMB-centric security and compliance solutions provider BlackStratus has named Philip Rugani as chief revenue officer, responsible for overseeing the new CYBERShark service as well as managing the organization’s global partner efforts.
Rugani formerly served as the vice president of Sales at Halogen Software and also spent time in executive roles at IBM and Oracle, according to the announcement.
"The SMB market is an untapped gold mine for SIEM technology because it finally fills the huge security and compliance void that has existed forever within small to midsize businesses,” said Dale Cline, CEO of BlackStratus. “By leveraging Phil's expertise we are confident we will quickly take a commanding lead in this new frontier."
Fortinet will utilize Impartner’s Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions to revamp its existing partner relationship platform, the company announced on Tuesday.
The new platform will allow Fortinet to launch a new partner portal with additional onboarding, deal registration, lead management and performance analytics, according to the company.
“Our Partner Portal is our digital front door to our partners,” said Joe Sykora, vice president Americas Channels and Emerging Technologies at Fortinet. “Using Impartner’s technology, our partners will get the information they need when they need it, and we will have better insights into their performance, so we can optimize programs and drive better collective business results.”
