Hola, and welcome to this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup. This week we’ve got news from AGT, SilverSkyand Nutanix, so grab your amigos and let’s round ‘em up.

AGT: The managed and cloud video conferencing solutions vendor has entered into a strategic partnership with Precision Videoconferencing Solutions, a full-service bridging and video communications company. Precision is integrating AGT’s Video-as-a-Service platform into its existing portfolio to offer VideoView, designed to connect a wide variety of PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones to standard videoconferencing systems.

The partnership allows Precision Videoconferencing to deliver flexible and branded cloud videoconferencing to its existing customers, extending high-quality video from the traditional conference room to a variety of video-enabled devices. In addition to providing Precision Videoconferencing its own web browser client and bridging service, AGT developed VideoView mobile video applications for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones. The VideoView app allows mobile device users to join a videoconference from any location, supporting the growing demand for hassle-free, business-to-business video communication.

SilverSky: The cloud security solutions provider has named Del Ross vice president of Worldwide Channel Sales, tasked with managing the growth of SilverSky’s channel partner program.

“Del brings to SilverSky the proven ability to architect and lead highly successful channel programs and we couldn’t be happier to add him to our management team,” said Tim Harvey, CEO, SilverSky. “His proven expertise in partner-based sales and go-to-market strategies, coupled with his deep relationships within the channel community, will be an invaluable asset to SilverSky as we continue to evaluate the role of our channel program in supporting our company’s growth trajectory.”

Ross has more than 20 years of technology and channel sales leadership experience. Prior to joining SilverSky, Ross served as vice president of Midmarket and Channel Sales at SugarCRM, where he grew the company’s U.S. channel program by more than 20 percent, according to SilverSky.

Nutanix: The provider of “hyper-efficient, massively scalable and elegantly simple datacenter infrastructure solutions,” (in their words) introduced the Nutanix Partner Network to expand its reseller channel. The program was built from the ground up to maximize partner productivity and profitability, and enables partners to easily learn about, promote and sell the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform.

To ensure the Nutanix Partner Network is managed successfully, Nutanix recently hired a channel team, including 25-year channel veteran Steve Kaplan as vice president of Channel and Strategic Sales. Previously Kaplan was vice president of Virtualization and Cloud Computing at Presidio, a roughly $2.5 billion data center solution provider.

And so we come to the end of another Channel Partner Program Roundup. May your chaps never chafe and your saddle never burr. And, as always, stay safe.
